Battery Powered Blinds
Modern Lithium powered battery motors are now available for most types of blinds although very large blinds need a mains powered motor. Roller blind batteries sit inside the roller so they are completely out of sight.
Other blinds will need a small compact battery pack or a 12 Volt transformer.
These batteries will normally last about 9 months with a daily up and down motion before requiring a simple recharge. Battery motors are less expensive than mains powered but a little noisier.
